Wedding preparation - determine the moment

After you have the guest list at hand, the disposable sum of money in head, next coming to do is to determine the moment, your exciting and pride time, when the wedding ceremony and reception will be held. Be serious about choosing the time, once settled down, never ever consider changing the schedule because after issuing the news it is not just of your own business but also the business of many connected people including your family, relatives, friends, contractor, reception, officer, priest, etc. Can you imagine to cancel it at the last minute?

From longer to shorter, you basically have choice in what season of year, what day of week, and what time of day, to hold the wedding ceremony and reception. If you just have a few months to proceed, then you have no choice of the season. It is said the favorite months for wedding are June, September, August, May, October, and July, when the popular wedding receptions and churches are very busy and at premium rate, very similar to the easily-doubled-flight-ticket price in summer hot season. The invisible market's hands are every where. So either book a date in the hot seasons long time ago, or avoid the rush, choose a less popular season like January, February, and March with benefit of easy feeling and spending. In fact every season is lovable and endowed with good wish to be the marrying-time by rhymes.

Most weddings are held on weekends, especially on Sundays, when we don't have the 5-workingdays-a- week system. But it is not to say that week days are not suitable for wedding, in fact, at some degree to console the guys marry on week days, an old English rhyme suggest good and not-so-good days to marry if the customary Sunday wasn't chosen:

Monday for wealth

Tuesday for health

Wednesday the best day of all

Thursday for crosses

Friday for losses

Saturday no luck at all

Being flexible at the time of day to have wedding will also make a big difference in you budget. A late afternoon or early evening wedding is generally more expensive than a morning or early- to mid-afternoon wedding. But if you have to conform to some custom or habit, then just keep it. For example, in China the first-marry bride must be showing up in ceremony before noon, while the re-married bride shows up in a dinner reception.  

When is the best season to marry?

I used to think wedding is always held in summer, June, July, August, and not later than September. These are typical months to have a romantic, cheerful wedding ceremony. I know I am wrong, but I still think, together with lots, summer is the perfect time to marry, when is suitable for bride wearing a beautiful wedding dress, standing in sunshine outside. English people think even further, to support wedding in every season, in my opinion, most probably to console the guys marring in winter, they attribute various kind meaning to every month, so we will have reason and support to marry in any time, not have to all crowd in one window period of year.
Here is the wedding rhymes that suggests certain results from certain wedding season.

• January - Marry when the year is new, he'll be loving, kind and true.
• February - When February birds do mate, you wed nor dread your fate.
• March - If you wed when March winds blow, joy and sorrow both you'll know.
• April - Marry in April if you can, joy for maiden and for man.
• May - Marry in the month of May, you will surely rue the day.
• June - Marry when June roses grow and over land and sea you'll go.
• July - Those who in July do wed must labor for their daily bread.
• August - Whoever wed in August be, many a change is sure to see.
• September - Marry in September's shine so that your life is rich and fine.
• October - If in October you do marry, love will come but riches tarry.
• November - If you wed in bleak November, only joys will come, remember!
• December - When December's snows fall fast, marry, and you love will last.
